Consulting & Advisory

Structure, accountability and a clear line of decision-making

Organizations rarely fail because nobody cared. They fail because nobody was clearly responsible, the policy said one thing and practice did another, or the structure that worked at twelve staff quietly broke at forty.

We help boards, owners and leadership teams put a defensible structure underneath the organization: who decides what, on whose authority, recorded where, reviewed how often.

Questions organizations ask

Do we need a formal board for this to be useful?

No. Owner-operated agencies benefit as much as organizations with a governing board. The question is whether decisions have a clear owner and a record, not whether there is a boardroom.

Will you write our policies for us?

We can draft, review or restructure them, and we will tell you where a policy needs a lawyer or a regulator rather than a consultant.

We are growing quickly and it is getting messy. Is that normal?

Very. Structure that fits a small team stops fitting somewhere between twenty and fifty people. That transition is one of the most common reasons organizations call us.
