About Help Now Healthcare
Help Now Healthcare is a Canadian home care provider and healthcare staffing agency, with our head office in Mississauga, Ontario. We care for people in their own homes, and we supply screened, credentialed healthcare professionals to hospitals, long-term care and retirement homes, clinics and community organizations.
We were founded in 2016 and became a registered entity in 2020. Everything we do rests on one idea: good care should let a person keep their independence, their routine and their dignity — wherever they happen to live.

What we do
Home care for families
Personal support, nursing, companionship and specialized care in a person’s own home — from a few hours a week to round-the-clock support.
Staffing for facilities and organizations
Screened RNs, RPNs, PSWs and support staff for hospitals, long-term care and retirement homes, clinics and community agencies — for planned shifts, sick calls and short-notice gaps.
How we work
Screened and credentialed
Every worker is checked before their first shift — identity, registration where the role requires it, police vulnerable sector check, references and immunization records.
A care plan built around one person
We start with a conversation, not a package. Hours, tasks, routines and the caregiver match are all set with you, and changed when your needs change.
The same faces, wherever we can
Continuity matters, particularly in dementia and palliative care. We work to keep the same small team with a client rather than sending whoever is free.
Our story
Help Now began in 2016 out of a straightforward observation about community health in Canada: a great deal of what keeps people well happens outside hospitals — in kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms, in the ordinary business of getting through a day.
The Public Health Agency of Canada has reported that roughly one in three Canadians lives with a chronic condition. Managing those conditions well is less about episodes of treatment and more about consistent, patient support close to home.
We became a registered entity in 2020, and have grown steadily since, adding facility staffing alongside home care as hospitals and long-term care homes told us the same thing families were telling us: the shortage is people.
Two services, one standard. Whether a nurse is working a shift in a long-term care home or a personal support worker is helping someone shower at home, the screening, the training and the accountability behind them are the same.
We are a licensed Ontario temporary help agency as well as a home care provider. That matters for organizations that need their staffing supplier to be compliant, and for families who want to know the person at the door works for a real employer.

Our head office is in Mississauga and our largest footprint is across Ontario, where we serve communities right across the province.
