Roles we are hiring for

Every role we recruit for is on the job board. Each page tells you what the work is actually like, what we need from you, and what we are required to tell you.

The full job board

Every role we recruit for — nursing, personal support, allied health, and social and community work — filterable in one place.

PSW jobs

Home care visits or facility shifts — two very different kinds of work, and you choose.

RN jobs

Agency and permanent Registered Nurse work, placed where your experience actually is.

RPN jobs

Long-term care, retirement, community, clinics and supported living.

Nurse Practitioner jobs

Attending and NP-led roles — mostly permanent and contract, and we say so.

Registered Dietitian jobs

Menu and therapeutic diets, dysphagia, nutrition risk review, full leave coverage.

Social Worker jobs

Discharge planning, long-term care, hospice, mental health and family services.

Case Manager jobs

Assessing, building and holding a care plan together across several providers.

Child and Youth Worker jobs

Community programs, residential treatment, schools and in-home respite.

What we offer

Choose when and where you work

Long shifts, short shifts, days, nights, weekends. Pick the cases closest to home and the hours that fit your life.

Work in your area of expertise

We place people where their experience actually is, rather than filling whatever gap is open.

You are an employee

Payroll deductions handled, WSIB coverage, and EI and CPP contributions made on your behalf.

Site-specific orientation

You are oriented to the site before your first shift, so you are not walking in cold.

Paid in-services and continuing education

Ongoing training, reflective workshops, and First Aid and CPR education.

Digital scheduling

Shifts on your phone, so you can see and pick up work without ringing the office.

Support around the clock

Someone is reachable 24/7. If something goes wrong at 3am on a shift, you are not on your own.

Group benefits and retirement savings

Available on qualification — ask us for the current details when you apply.

Malpractice insurance

Professional liability cover after qualification, alongside our general liability insurance.

What you are entitled to, and what we are required to tell you

Worth knowing before you apply anywhere, not only here.

  • You are an employee, not a contractor. Payroll deductions, WSIB coverage, EI and CPP contributions, and Employment Standards Act entitlements including vacation and public holiday pay.
  • You never pay us a fee. Our fees are paid by the employer or the client. If any agency asks you for money to be placed, walk away.
  • Postings must state expected pay. Since 1 January 2026, publicly advertised job postings in Ontario must include the expected compensation or a range, must say whether the posting is for an existing vacancy, and must disclose if artificial intelligence is used to screen applicants.
  • Canadian experience cannot be required. Ontario prohibits Canadian experience requirements in publicly advertised job postings and their application forms.
  • You get an answer after an interview. Employers must tell interviewed applicants whether a hiring decision was made, within 45 days of the last interview.

Who does well here

Compassionate, patient and genuinely reliable. People who communicate clearly one-to-one and in a team, who hold themselves accountable, and who want to stay somewhere long enough to build something.

Recruitment fraud — how to tell it’s really us

We never ask you to pay. Not for an application, an interview, training, a uniform, a police check, or a placement. Nobody at Help Now will ever ask you for money, a gift card, or an e-transfer. We also never send a cheque to a new hire to buy equipment or a “starter kit” — that scam always ends with the cheque bouncing after you’ve sent your own money on.

We contact you first by email or phone. Our emails come from an @helpnowhealthcare.com address, and our calls come from our own lines, including 1-888-507-6236. We do use WhatsApp — but only to carry on a conversation you have already started with us. If a stranger opens with a job offer on WhatsApp or Telegram and you have never been in touch with us, that is not us, whatever name is on the account.

What we do ask for is normal — and it is never money. Applying with us means giving us your ID, your registration or certification, your references and a vulnerable sector police check. Any real healthcare employer will ask for these. Your SIN and banking details come later, once you are hired and we are setting up your pay — never as part of applying.

Not sure? Don’t reply to the message. Call us on 1-888-507-6236 or email employment@helpnowhealthcare.com and we’ll tell you whether it came from us.
