Recruitment for healthcare organizations

Hiring in healthcare fails in specific places: a posting that attracts the wrong applicants, registration that has to be verified at source, credentials that expire between offer and start date, and a vacancy that still has to be covered while the search runs.

We recruit for organizations across Canada — hospitals, long-term care and retirement homes, rehabilitation, clinics and community agencies. Tell us the role and we will tell you whether a permanent search, a temporary placement, or a change to your own hiring process is the honest answer.

Which route fits your vacancy

Four different problems get called “we need to hire someone”. They have different answers, and picking the wrong one is expensive.

You need someone permanently on your payrollA direct hire search, ending with the person employed by you. See permanent healthcare recruitment.
The role is allied health, diagnostic or physicianA different candidate market with its own credentialing. See allied health, diagnostic and physician recruitment.
You need the shifts covered nowCoverage while you recruit, or instead of recruiting. See temporary and agency staffing.
The hiring itself keeps failingIf good candidates reach offer and then disappear, the problem is the process. See HR & workforce advisory.

Questions organizations ask

Can you cover the vacancy while you recruit for it?

Yes, and it is often the sensible order. Temporary coverage keeps the unit safe and takes the pressure off the decision, which usually produces a better permanent hire than rushing one.

What happens if the search does not produce anyone suitable?

We tell you, rather than sending a weaker shortlist to look busy. Where the obstacle is the role itself — the hours, the scope, the market in that community — we will say what would have to change.

Do you recruit outside Ontario?

Yes. Our staffing and recruitment work covers organizations across Canada. Our home care services are Ontario only.
